DESCRIPTION:Falling Plates \n\n\n\nThe Falling Plates Rack consists of Six Metal Plates\, approximately 8 inches in diameter. The Gamerequires every participant to shoot as many plates as possible in a specific time frame\, which depends onthe distance and firearm used\, as follows:Falling Plates – Pistol is shot from 10\, 15\, 20\, 25 and 30 yards and the times are 6\, 7\, 8\, 9\, and 10 seconds respectively.Falling Plates – Rifle is shot from 30\, 35\, 40\, 45 and 50 yards and the times are 10\, 11\, 12\, 13 and 14seconds respectively.Only .22 Rimfire (Long Rifle\, Long or Short) are allowed. No other caliber or any Magnums are permitted.Courses of Fire are the same for both\, Pistol and Rifle:The competitor shall load only 6 (six) rounds\, and will shoot within the mentioned time slots. A timer is used to establish the shooting periods. Every participant will be called to the shooting lane\, at which said participant will arrive with two magazines or speed loaders\, with no more than 6 (six) rounds on each\, and will load the firearm when directed to do so by the Match Director. SUMMARY:Light Rifle
DESCRIPTION:Coyote Point Light Rifle Match1) The distance from the firing line to the targets is 50 yards.2) Any non-artificially supported position may be used. Prone is recommended.3) Only .22 rimfire (no magnums) ammunition may be used.4) NRA Light Rifle rules apply: 8.5 pound firearm weight limit including sights; no slings; no heavy shooting gloves; no heavyshooting jackets. A shooting mat is highly recommended; maximum thickness is one inch.5) The NRA A27 “50 Yard Smallbore Prone Target” with one sighter bull and four scoring bulls will be used.6) During the match unlimited sighters may be taken on the sighter bull.7) During the match 10 shots will be taken on each of the four scoring bulls.8) The 40 shot match (plus any in-match sighters) must be completed within 40 minutes. Except for unforeseen circumstances\,there will be no intermission or interruption. Any officially-called interruption time will be added to the 40 normal minutes. Latecompetitor arrivals are not considered “unforeseen circumstances” for the purpose of match interruption.9) Unofficial sighting-in on non-A27 targets starts at 0830.10) The match briefing by the Match Director starts at 0900.11) Official sighting-in on the A27 target starts at 0915.12) The match starts at 0930.13) There are two categories\, scoped and iron sight. Scoped entries will be scored separately from iron sight entries\, and a winnerwill be declared for each category.14) The total possible score is 400;points.15) The match fee is $5 for Coyote Point R&P Club members and $25 for non-members. Please try to bring the exact amounts.16) After the match\, competitors will retrieve their targets\, write their first and last names on them and give them to the MatchDirector.17) Standard NRA scoring rules apply. A shot which is mostly located in a lower scoring ring but which touches a higher scoringring will be assigned the higher number.18) The Match Director will assign a score to each target\, arrange all names/scores on a results form and submit it to the Club’scentralized reporting authority for approval and publication. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nNon-Members: $25.00Members: $ 5.00

DESCRIPTION:Coyote Point Benchrest Match Course of Fire \n\n\n\n1) 100 yards is the distance from the firing line to targets\, variable to as short as 95 yards if a match is held during rain.2) The match target is the NRA A27 “50 Yard Smallbore Prone Target” with one sighting bull and four scoring bulls.3) Ten shots are allowed on each scoring bull.4) Unlimited shots are allowed on the sighter bull.5) After the match officially starts\, 40 scoring shots (plus unlimited sighters) must be fired in a maximum of 40 minutes. DESCRIPTION:The Falling Plates Rack consists of Six Metal Plates\, approximately 8 inches in diameter. The Gamerequires every participant to shoot as many plates as possible in a specific time frame\, which depends onthe distance and firearm used\, as follows:Falling Plates – Pistol is shot from 10\, 15\, 20\, 25 and 30 yards and the times are 6\, 7\, 8\, 9\, and 10 seconds respectively.Falling Plates – Rifle is shot from 30\, 35\, 40\, 45 and 50 yards and the times are 10\, 11\, 12\, 13 and 14seconds respectively.Only .22 Rimfire (Long Rifle\, Long or Short) are allowed. No other caliber or any Magnums are permitted.Courses of Fire are the same for both\, Pistol and Rifle:The competitor shall load only 6 (six) rounds\, and will shoot within the mentioned time slots. A timer is used to establish the shooting periods. Every participant will be called to the shooting lane\, at which said participant will arrive with two magazines or speed loaders\, with no more than 6 (six) rounds on each\, and will load the firearm when directed to do so by the Match Director. Two strings of 6 (six) shots will take place. There are no alibis whatsoever.
